I have found the perfect eyelash curler – Maquillage Edge Free Eyelash Curler.
I learned about Maquillage when the sales lady in Langham place showed one to me when I asked for a Shiseido eyelash curler. Apparently there are two kinds – The Makeup Eyelash curler (for women with smaller eyes), and Maquillage (intended for women with larger eyes).
For the first time I was able to evenly curl my eyelashes without the 90 degree angle-look, but a smooth natural curl. I’m so in love with this product, and I’m sure you would too!
The original Shiseido the makeup eyelash curler costs Php1,200 in Manila. It’s a lot less if you buy online. Maquillage is not available here and it comes in a transparent plastic box, and the eyelash curler itself is purple/ black with extra rubber pad.
If you have achieved the eyelash length that you want because of Revitalash, or you really have long eyelashes, you can use Maquillage (with Majolica Majorca) and look as if you have eyelash extensions on.
- Heat the eyelash curler with a blow dryer. Test in your skin if heat is tolerable.
- Curl you lashes from the root to the tip until satisfied with the shape. Be careful because since it’s more flat than Shu Uemura and Shiseido the Makeup Eyelash Curler, it may pinch your eyelid if you’re not careful.
- Now, use your favorite mascara ( I adore Majolica Majorca also from Shiseido) as instructed in the box.
